Through the blog of Alex Ross, the New Yorker's music critic, I discovered the supremely gifted Lorraine Hunt Lieberson: through the same blog I learn that she died on July 4th. She was 52. Saddened and deeply grateful as I listen to Cantata BWV 82 - "Ich habe genug".
